snooba-home

Bonaire is the least developed of the "ABC Islands", which it forms with Aruba and Curaçao in the southern Caribbean. This small island is arid and rugged with cacti stretching to heights of 8 meters, iguanas sunbathing on volcanic rocks, and it is the home to one of the largest Flamingo breeding grounds in the world.

With fewer than 15.000 inhabitants, Bonaire is an unhurried place, quiet, peaceful and safe, with very friendly and hospitable locals.

Despite being largely flat, you will find a variety of landscapes ranging from stretches of narrow pink sand beaches, areas that resemble the Arizona dessert, rolling hills encircling a lake, large salt pan sand the wild and rocky east coast. It should not take you longer than 10 minutes to fully explore Kralendijk, the small, sleepy capital of Bonaire with its colourful buildings and shops.
