Maldives is a chain of 26 atolls lying 600km Southwest of Sri Lanka at the Southern tip of India. The archipelago is made up of about 1.200 small coral islands in the Indian Ocean, more than 1.000 of them uninhabited and none of them much above sea level. All of the islands have tropical vegetation such as coconut palms and, on top of picture perfect beaches, they provide visitors with one of the most breathtaking views of underwater life in the world.

Resort Islands in Maldives are self-contained and have their own power, water, telecommunication, restaurants and transportation. Don't expect nightlife, but do expect stunning beaches, good weather, friendly people, relaxation and great diving and snorkelling.
